DAY 1 - SAIGON
Arrival in Sai Gon, welcomed by our guide and transfer to the city. Accomodation in hotel (rooms are usually available from 14h00). In the afternoon visit the city: War Remnants museum which traces the history of the second war of Indochina, better known as the "Vietnam War", Notre Dame cathedral, Central Post office, and Ben Thanh market. Overnight stay in Sai Gon.

DAY 3 - SAIGON - BEN TRE
Departure to go to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a set of 200 km of tunnels dug during the resistance against the United States, an underground village system. Continue by car to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai temple. This temple is the only seat of Caodaism - a unique religion in the world that mixes Islam, Christianity, Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism in one creed. This complex was founded in 1926 which presents a beauty that is difficult to find. Return by car to Sai Gon. Overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 3 - SAIGON - BEN TRE
Visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the Phytotherapy Museum, a very interesting place to learn about Vietnamese traditional medicines, to try on the usual dress of the doctors and drink a herbal tea. Departure for the Mekong Delta with Ben Tre as destination. Arrival in the town in the afternoon, accommodation in Home. Free time with the opportunity to have a shrimp fishing experience and a cooking class for the preparation of Banh Xeo, a Vietnamese traditional dish. Dinner at Home. Overnight stay in Ben Tre.

DAY 4 - BEN TRE - TRA VINH
Cycle to the island of Oc through a morning market where various local products such as vegetables, meat, fruit, ect. are sold. Depending upon availability, stop to visit a family of craftsmen who work the coconut and join a workshop in which learn how to create baskets with coconut leaves. Continue cycling around the village to see the daily life of the inhabitants and reach the fish farm where you can see two Vietnamese typical species of fish. Return by boat to Home. In the afternoon transfer to Tra Vinh which is located about 90km from Ben Tre. Dinner and overnight stay in homestay in Tra Vinh.

DAY 5 - TRA VINH - CAN THO
Walk or bike ride to the local villages to learn about the daily life of the Khmer. Visit of the Cathedral and Ba Mi pagoda. Continuation by car to Can Tho - the metropolis of the southern provinces. Visit the ancient house of Binh Thuy. Overnight stay in hotel in Can Tho.

DAY 6 - CAN THO - CHAU DOC
Wake up in the morning for a walk along the Hau Giang River, the lower arm of Mekong. Visit the floating market of Cai Rang, one of the most authentic of the delta. Continuation by car from Can Tho to Chau Doc. After about 2 hours on the road, visit of the tea tree forest of Tra Su - a typical forest of the western Hau river. With an area of about 850 hectares, this is home to many species of typical animals and plants of the forests in Vietnam. Overnight in hotel in Chau Doc.

DAY 7 - CHAU DOC - SAIGON
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of Ba Chua Xu pagoda at the foot of mount Sam. Return by car to Sai Gon, accommodation in hotel after a 6-7 hour - trip. Overnight stay in Sai Gon.
DAY 8 - DEPARTURE
Free time until the direct transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

GIORNO 7 - INCANTEVOLE FORESTA PLUVIALE DI MELALEUCA
Partenza in auto privata per Chau Doc con l'arrivo dopo circa 4.5 ore di viaggio. Una gita in barca nella incantevole foresta pluviale di melaleuca di Tra Su - una foresta tipica del fiume Hau occidentale. Con una superficie di circa 850 ettari, questa è casa di molte specie di animali e piante del Vietnam.
Poi trasferimento e sistemazione in albergo e tempo libero per scoprire in autonomia il centro della cittadina. Pernottamento a Chau Doc.
GIORNO 8 - VERSO LA CAMBOGIA VIA FIUME
Imbarco di buon’ora via fiume per Phnom Penh. Arrivo alla capitale, accoglienza da parte della guida poi trasferimento in città e sistemazione in albergo (solitamente le camere sono disponibili a partire da 14h00).
Pomeriggio visita del Palazzo Reale – un complesso molto ricco e raffinato, che sorge lungo le rive del Mekong, formato da una serie di pagode, ognuna con una sua precisa funzione. Poi visita della Pagoda d’Argento, del Monumento dell’Indipendenza e del Wat Phnom – la pagoda sulla collina da cui la città prende il nome e simbolo della sua fondazione. A seguire visita al mercato centrale e al mercato russo. Pernottamento a Phnom Penh.
GIORNO 9 - ANTICO TEMPIO NASCOSTO NELLA FORESTA
Dopo la prima colazione, partenza per Kampong Thom. Sosta lungo la strada per vedere il mercato Skun famoso per i ragni fritti.
A Kampong Thom, visita del Sambor Prei Kuk, un sito pre-angkoriano risalente al VII secolo che rappresenta gli esempi più antichi ancora esistenti dell’architettura khmer.
Continuazione in auto verso Siem Reap, breve sosta a Stoung per visitare alcune case coloniali e khmer e il ponte Kampong Khdey, ossia Spean Prabtus, costruito durante l’Impero di Khmer.
Arrivo a Siem Reap dopo circa 4 ore, sistemazione in hotel. Pernottamento a Siem Reap.
GIORNO 10 - SPETTACOLARE ANGKOR WAT ED EMOZIONANTE TRAMONTO
Prima colazione in hotel, visita alla Porta Sud di Angkor Thom, con due file di enormi statue di demoni e divinità disposti su entrambi i lati del ponte di pietra raffiguranti la trasformazione dell'oceano di latte. Visita del tempio Bayon, con una selva di grandi teste scolpite nella pietra. Visita di Baphoun, di Phimean Akas e del Terrazzo dell'Elefante, una volta utilizzato come grande sala delle udienze del re. Visita della Terrazza del Re lebbroso che si suppone fosse una terrazza destinata alle cremazioni reali.
Pomeriggio, visita di Angkor Wat, il più celebre, il più armonioso ed il più perfetto dei templi khmer. Apoteosi dell'arte Khmer, che raggiunse l'apice della gloria nel XII secolo. Il tempio sorge come un tempio-montagna ed è stato costruito dal re Suryavrman II e dedicato al dio Vishnu. Salita sulla collina Bakheng che dà su Angkor Wat e Baray e immersione nel mozzafiato tramonto. Pernottamento a Siem Reap.
GIORNO 11 - TEMPLI SACRI TESTIMONIANTI DELL'ARTE E ARCHITETTURA ECCEZIONALE ANGKOR
Dopo la prima colazione, visita del tempio di Banteay Srei - un piccolo complesso di templi considerato da molti visitatori come la più alta realizzazione di arte ed architettura della civiltà classica Angkor e del Banteay Samrer, costruiti nel XI secolo. Nel pomeriggio, lungo la strada di ritorno verso l’albergo, visita del Pre Rup, Eastern Mebon, Neak Pean e Preah Khan - un grande tempio costruito sul luogo della battaglia fra impero Khmer e regno dei Champa e che si concluse con la caduta di Angkor. Poi ammirare la sorprendente vista del tempio di Ta Prohm. Pernottamento a Siem Reap.
GIORNO 12 - FINE DEL VIAGGIO E RIENTRO IN ITALIA
Prima colazione in hotel. Tempo libero fino al trasferimento in aeroporto per il volo di rientro in Italia.
